Events often conspire to force us to wake up and think about things in a new way. I’d had many discussions about whether the Apple iPad is a “necessity” or just superfluous fluff. Having my iPad grabbed from my hands on a train in Paris forced me to really think about this.

Hey, I made it to the Apple Store yesterday to pick up the iPad that I had reserved.  And what do you know, they had a few others available, so I couldn’t resist, and got one for myself.  Very cool – for you who are thinking of getting one, I’ll be doing a review on the “Meta Morgan TV” program this week.

I have a 64GB Apple iPad reserved at the Apple Store that I’m going to pick up with my own cash, on April 3rd – then early the next week, I’ll be wrapping it up in a box, and biking it over to the post office to send off to the lucky/skillful winner.
